In 2009, Mr Rushton is correct in saying that. They eliminated 3 categories of members where the public could participate in the Community Economic Development (CED).
Look at this letter below, this is what they told Incorporations Canada that it was sanctioned by the members. OOOPS! Where are the members?!?! We can't find any! That is called "Being very careless with the truth, or abuse of authority." By the way, What authority? How did Mr Rushton get in that seat of power, being the Chair of the Community Futures Development Corporation of Mount Waddington???
Doesn't the public have the right to know? They are the ones paying the bills.

It has promised us many great things! You are regarded by many locals as the town psycho and crackpot and I was told by my parents to stay away from you but I want to hear from you personally. ReplyDeleteI am not down on Community Futures what-so-ever. Those programs are very good and they could help the public at large if they were managed according to the rules and the guide lines. You read this post and you read Mr David Rushton's letter to Ottawa and it states "The amendments were sanctioned by the members of the Corporation in accordance with the existing by-laws on March 31st 2009" This is being very careless with the truth because they don't have any members of the Corporation. That's how they run the Community Futures; lies, manipulation, break all the rules in the book, and if I complain you decide I am a crackpot.
How can the Chair of the Regional District also be the Chair of the Community Futures at the same time? One position is volunteer and one is elected, in the same mandate. Then, you get a letter from the Regional Distrct Administrator saying that the two organizations have nothing to do with each other.
In 2003 the Minister, Steven Owen said "The Community Futures are responsible to the Community they serve."
This mean that the Chair of the Community Futures is responsible to himself as the Chair of the Regional District. Does this make sense to you?

You don't have to use a fake name to talk to us. If your dad is scared that's one thing, he might have a good reason, his job might be in jepardy. He's not alone. Here in Port Mc Neill it is a bit like South Africa before Nelson Mandela, very few people control many, some of these people don't have the authority to control others. You have nothing to fear, they can't kick you out of school for talking to us. You will be elegible to vote in the next few years, you should inform yourself about who is the best person to vote for. You don't want to waste your vote on a shyster because you don't know their background.
